Fremantle Rebrand Launch at MIPCOM, Cannes

Brief:

To integrate the launch of the new Fremantle brand into the Fremantle booth design and build at MIPCOM 2018.

Fremantle creates, produces and distributes some of the best known and loved content in the world. The key objective was for the new design to showcase Fremantle’s content and celebrate the new brand in an environment representative of Fremantle’s vision.

My Role:

To launch Fremantle’s new brand at MIPCOM, I led on the project management of the the redesign and installation to integrate the new brand and enhance Fremantle’s presence at the markets.

The Fremantle stand consists of a 600sqm purpose-built structure and terrace area, positioned on the beach in Cannes and is home to 120 Fremantle execs throughout both the MIPCOM and MIPTV markets. Built within the space was a reception area, 22 sales meeting offices, multi-use networking area, branding opportunities, fully functioning restaurant and bar, back of house technical set up, bathroom facilities and a 100sqm dressed beach area.

In addition to the above, I oversaw the management of all logistics for Fremantle execs in attendance.

End Result:

Partnering with Fremantle’s in-house creative and marketing teams and an experiential marketing agency, we achieved the brief by producing a more versatile, modern, engaging and creative space, aligning with the core brand values. This also included the transformation of the terrace area into a solid structure for a more functional and all-weather meeting and catering area.

The newly upgraded stand was completed within budget, to plan and within deadline, elevating Fremantle’s presence at MIPCOM and launching the new brand to the international media community.
