Hans Zimmer - Hollywood Rebel, Mipcom 2022
Brief:
To create a ‘must attend’, exclusive event, that generates excitement around, and promotes sales for BBC Studios Hans Zimmer - Hollywood Rebel documentary to international TV buyers, whilst building on the content partnership relationship.
My Role:
Hosted in the new BBC Studios venue, Le Studio in Cannes MIPCOM 2022, I was lead on producing an exclusive VIP evening event that showcased music from Hans Zimmer’s career and newly launched documentary celebrating the life of cinema's most ground-breaking composer.
As a strict invitation only event, with a guest list comprising of top industry execs, buyers and VIP’s, the format created included arrival cocktails and canapés, followed by a prestigious and unique show, performed by professional classical musicians from Hans’ world tour, and a one-off performance of ‘TIME’ with Hans Zimmer on guitar.
End Result:
Undeterred by budget limitations and challenges faced due to space restrictions and specific requirements for the consort of instruments/backline, we delivered a truly special event, executed with high-end production values.
The success of the event resulted in an enhanced stakeholder partnership with Hans Zimmer, subsequent international sales of the documentary, and a once in a lifetime moment for guests.
