The X-Factor Live Final VIP Experience

Brief:

Partnering with Syco, Fremantle was the primary stakeholder and organiser of the pre and post live show VIP experience for 1,600 guests split across two nights, including arena side seats. As an internationally recognised brand, the brief was to create a VIP experience that embraced the glitz and excitement generated by the show, and to give invited guests a night they wouldn’t forget.

This event was sponsored by Just Eat and hosted at the Wembley Hilton and SSE Arena, London.

My Role:

As VP of Events at Fremantle, our team was responsible for devising a concept that would work within budget and fit the brief given by the stakeholders. We created an outdoor food festival environment, in line with the Just Eat brand, and with a party atmosphere. This included branded activations and interactive areas to replicate the experience of being a contestant backstage, with live performances by the finalists and winner Dalton Harris.

In addition to the above, we were responsible for the VIP seating plan in the SSE arena, registration and ticket distribution/ collection for all VIPs. It was essential that the registration and ticket distribution added to the VIP experience. This was achieved by using a bespoke microsite and setting up VIP registration area for guest to retrieve their tickets.

End Result:

This project required huge operational and logistical components and skilled stakeholder management. Despite a limited budget and some venue restrictions, we fulfilled the client brief and surpassed stakeholder expectations
